Community Involvement and Outreach
Groups of our church members are involved with several local organisations and we are seeking ways of helping and reaching out to the people of our local community.
Our Fareshare Food Bank provides a bag of food to up to 20 local families, who are suffering from food poverty because of circumstances that are out of their control.
The Acts 435 scheme enables us to request emergency funds to help people in crisis
Our church also regularly runs a school holiday club, Eat & Play, for familes from the local communities.
We have a quarterly Messy Church, which is a craft based bible story and fun time for primary aged children from our local schools.
We support the work of Christians Against Poverty in Oldham providng help for people in debt and teaching them Lifeskills.
